Patient Reviews

“I've been going here for over two years and have always had a great experience. This office is very chic and modern. They must have had their patients in mind when building this location. Every room is equipt with a flat screen TV and headset so that you can watch your favorite show while you get your teeth worked on. This really helps make any procedure pass quickly because the last thing anyone wants to hear is the sound of the drill. Another thing I enjoy is that their chairs have little massagers that will help sooth and calm you through your procedure. The receptionist here is very knowledgeable and will take the time to explain what is and isn't covered by your insurance.I love that they have always been punctual. You'll never sit around and wait past your appointment time.Dr. Aaron Breaux is gentle and will make every procedure as close to painless as possible.” - Sandra L.

When you visit THE Smile Lounge, you are our most important patient. Dr. Breaux and our team focus on you, your oral health needs, and your comfort. We appreciate the trust you place in us to help you achieve excellent oral health, and our team works hard to continue to earn that trust every time you visit.

You may have had dental experiences in the past where you felt like you’re just another number on a chart. We can assure you that we always focus on your concerns, and take the time to answer your questions fully. We know that an informed patient is a healthy patient, and we take the time to talk to you about why a specific treatment is important and how it will benefit your oral health.

Technology

If it's been a while since your last dental visit, you will be pleasantly surprised to see the way that technology has made treatment easier and more effective than ever. Dr. Breaux and our team are committed to bringing you the highest level of oral health care available, and modern technology helps us achieve that goal.

Digital Radiography (X-Rays)

Digital x-rays are a type of dental imaging that allows us to send images directly to a computer for storage. In just a few moments, we can view the digitally perfect images on a monitor screen.

We can then share the image with you so that you see what we see, making it easier for you to understand why your treatment is necessary. Digital images are also safer for you because they significantly reduce the amount of radiation exposure.

Digital x-rays offer several other advantages over traditional film x-rays. For example, the software allows us to enhance and enlarge the image, which helps our dentist see even the tiniest changes, which wouldn't be seen during a visual oral exam.

Digital images can also be shared electronically with a specialist or a new dentist if you move. Finally, digital images are better for the environment since we don’t have to dispose of the potentially hazardous materials used with film x-rays.

Intraoral Cameras

An intraoral camera is a small handheld camera that was designed specifically for use in dental offices. This technology allows us to share images of your mouth with you so you can see what’s happening with your teeth and why treatment is necessary. An intraoral camera is very small, about the size of a pen.

Images taken with our intraoral cameras are stored digitally at our office, helping us to develop a comprehensive history of your treatment and share it with your insurance company or specialists as needed.

Electronic Records

In order to make each of your visits as efficient as possible, we store all your patient information, history, and charts electronically. The information we input is stored securely to our in-house system. This method of record-keeping is easier on the environment, but it also provides easy access to the information we need to help us make the most appropriate decisions about your dental treatment. Electronic records also allow us to easily send records to specialists as needed.
